Bavaria 45

Round Britain Experience, a 2011 Bavaria 45, replaced her predecessor, a Bavaria 46 in early 2011. The newly designed Bavaria 45 has proven itself a trustworthy and comfortable yacht, designed by Farr Yacht Designs and BMW Designworks, she has many excellent features and a good turn of speed.

Hull Design

The Bavaria 45 has been designed with a wave cutting vertical stem and a high foot giving her the ability to make fast passage speeds. Double laminated bulkheads and latest manufacturing techniques have produced a stiff hull which resists the twisting and creaks of the Bavarias of old. The high freeboard and steeply raked topsides ensure the 45 is a dry boat in most sea conditions. The broad transom has been designed around a twin rudder and twin wheel set-up which gives exceptional control at large angles of heel. There is  plenty of deck space both in and out of the cockpit and deep seating areas offering high levels of comfort.

Interior Design

Finished in the favoured light oak veneer with blue cloth, Round Britain Experience is the four double cabin layout offering privacy to all onboard. There are 3 heads and showers, two ensuite for the aft cabins and a shared but separate heads and shower room for the two forward cabins.
